Vikings and Trump's Fire Burial

From Liberpedia

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then you win,” said one American trade union leader (this expression was mistakenly attributed to Gandhi). But, accordingly, there is also a reverse process. Now Donald Trump is going through it - four years ago he won to everyone's surprise, but now he is going through the stage of a walking anecdote on the way to final oblivion. Yesterday's storming of the Capitol by a handful of Trump supporters is the funeral of his career.

What is this fuss about? That Trump lost the election, but accepting defeat with dignity is for wimps. Therefore, he declared his loss to be the result of a large conspiracy and massive falsifications[1]. Mass falsifications were not confirmed, the courts rejected the claims. Yesterday, the final was supposed - a joint meeting of the two houses of Congress with the approval of the electoral votes. Prior to this, Trump demanded that Vice President Michael Pence (who chaired the meeting) reject votes that were unfavorable to Trump. Pence doesn’t really have such powers,[2] but he didn’t even try. As a result, Trump threw a tantrum, where he actually declared Pence a traitor. Although he made the only right choice between loyalty to Trump and loyalty to the Constitution. A system where the incumbent vice president can overrule inconvenient electoral votes is anything but a republic.

After that, the ill-fated march happened, where a small part of the completely repulsed Trumpists broke into the Capitol. Now there is already a cry that this is almost a terrorist attack, but in reality the phrase "fucking circus" is the best fit here. Naturally, city madmen are more beautiful than one another[3] (take a closer look, the "Viking" does not have a flagpole, but a spear), who carry out loot with joyful faces. And all this was called "the second American revolution", no more, no less. It would be quite funny if a girl (from among those who broke in) had not been shot in the process.

As a result, Trump, of course, realized that the final funeral of his political career, the president, who for the past six months has been doing nothing but drowning for "law and order", threatening to ban "antifa terrorists", is taking place live. Wrote an appeal to disperse peacefully, but it was limited by Twitter (which, after a series of recent crazy tweets, was expected). Such an irony: Trump was finally buried not by damned liberals, but by his own nuclear audience. He demonstrated that if Trump represents anyone, it is not the "forgotten whites" of the rusty belt, but some clowns who run around the Capitol with a naked torso and a spear at the ready.

Why did it happen? For years, Trump has used the rhetoric "the apocalypse is at the gates - rally around the leader (me)" and called any criticism of him a conspiracy and fake news. It is clear that if you preach insanity, then your nuclear audience will consist of madmen. Trump was confident that he could keep this crowd under control, using it for his own political purposes. But, who would have thought, it turned out that a crowd of idiots, carefully selected over the years, could not be controlled - and now she served Trump.

Note to everyone who thinks that conspiracy schiza, petty rudeness, arrogant self-confidence and everything else that for some reason has now come to be called "new sincerity" is a good political strategy. It, of course, initially works, but ends quite ingloriously.
