• The level of hubris from the “National Security Expert” class is mind boggling. Not even getting literally every decision wrong over the last 20 yrs, costing millions of lives and trillions of dollars can give them pause as the condescend to the rest of us.

• I was wrong. I didn’t think Putin would move forces into Donbass. The most important issue in the history of humanity is avoiding a nuclear war with Russia. I don’t think there will be an invasion, but we better keep that in mind if there is one.

• Americans should be a lot more concerned with the situation in Canada than the situation in the Donbass region.

• Cornel West is absolutely right on this. The people calling him “pro Putin” are engaging in a mindless smear. This isn’t pro Putin. This is pro peace, humanity and sanity.

• The deal to end the war in Ukraine should be this: Putin ends the war immediately and pulls all forces out of Ukraine. He keeps Crimea (that’s happening no matter what). In exchange for this, the US immediately leaves NATO. Win for Ukraine. Win for Russia. Win for the USA.
