I forgot to include a couple things: Putin has brought organized crime into the government so that now the Kremlin acts like an extortion syndicate/protection racket, he wants to weaken the U.S. and to expand Russian power at America’s expense, he interfered in our elections, etc

With all due respect, Vladimir Putin is always cast as a villain by America. But is he? I worked for the Senate, I know the plan to bring Russia to its knees. Of course Putin pushes back to protect his country. And America has had the mafia entrenched for decades in government.

@juliaioffe He murders journalists, and people who speak out against him.The country is mob ruled. He’s an evil, thin skinned, insecure strong man and a bad guy. Tip Tara Reade 🐎 @ReadeAlexandra · Dec 4, 2019 Replying to @sfnativekelly

@juliaioffe I understand you have been told to “hate” this man. But do you know him? Have you examined objective evidence? I worked in Congress, our country is quite violent with other nations and corrupt. America needs to examine it’s own violent imperialism and corrupt government.

I do say positive things and I did. I stand by everything I have said or written about Putin. Frame it if you like. He is a great leader for his country and lifted them from poverty in 2000s. He also has averted nuclear war with west by his patience and diplomacy.
