The Libertarian Party of Russia (LPR) is an unregistered Russian political party that promotes the principles of the country’s libertarian development. It advocates the expansion of civil rights and freedoms, a free market economy, a decrease in the influence of the state on the life of society and neutrality in foreign policy.

history

The party began to form at the end of 2007, but officially counts its existence from April 15, 2008, when a notification was submitted to the Ministry of Justice about the registration of the first organizing committee of the party.

In 2020, the party split, resulting in two libertarian parties with identical symbols. unofficially they were called LPR(F) and LPR(PMS).
